Bridge Conference Centre approached with a view to create a website for a new conference centre. Creating a website for a new business presents challenges and benefits. On the one hand, we are not bound to existing specifications or scope and are free to design totally from scratch. On the other hand, we have nothing to work from and nothing to base our design on. Challenge accepted.
The team at Bridge Conference Centre had a prescriptive vision for what they wanted to see, and a lot of the element placement and some design ideas came from their internal team.
The key for a conference centre website is to adequately showcase the facilities available for hire. With that being the case, we knew that images would feature heavily in this build. We opted for a slideshow style image gallery in the above-fold area, meaning that the visitor is able to gain an initial understanding of what is being offered from the first paint.
In terms of the visitor journey, it's highly likely that a visitor would like to see detailed specifications and pictures of the rooms upon arrival on the site. With that being the case, we placed a call to action button in the top centre space to help visitors find rooms to rent quickly.
We believe the design and structure of the Bridge Conference Centre website well represents the organisation and its business.
