It's always fun when we get to work on a project that presents a programming challenge - it takes us back to our routes. That's exactly what happened in our project with Parental Choice, we were over-the-moon and keen to start.
The team from Parental Choice approached us with a vision to redesign, restructure, and rebuild their entire online presence, with multiple websites, client portals, and various other requirements too fulfil. How do we approach such a Goliath? The same way we would eat an elephant: one mouthful at a time (we don't eat elephants, or advocate for the consumption of elephants at all).
The first part of the project was a website for a brand new arm to their business specialising in payroll services - very useful. The styling of the site is very much in-keeping with the existing branding guidelines, our goal is to build upon the guidelines, whilst bring in our own creative flare. We wanted to keep the home page clean and simple; a no-nonsense paint that draws from the clean and simple process one cant expect when commissioning PC Payroll to look after their payroll.
The team at PC Payroll were keen to include a salary calculator on their site, which helps people figure out the cost of employment. This feature also serves as a useful step on a journey towards a call to action; once the calculator has been used a button appears to have the results emailed to the visitor, which will also inform the PC Payroll team of the submission.
We enjoyed working on this project, and are happy that we're continuing to support Parental Choice with their online endeavours.
